Start With the Weekly Reset
A simple reset to help you see what needs attention, get organised and start the week without trying to do everything at once.
You don't need to reset everything
A weekly reset isn't about getting the whole house perfectly organised.
It's about getting the important things out of your head and into one place, so you know what needs attention and where to start.
Give yourself about 45 minutes and focus on the things that will make the coming week easier.
1. Look at the week ahead Start with the family calendar. Check school and childcare, appointments, activities, work commitments and anything unusual happening this week.
2. Reset the basics Check the areas that tend to create friction — kitchen surfaces, living areas, laundry, bins, school bags and things that need to leave the house.
3. Think about meals Choose five weeknight dinners, check what you already have and make your shopping list.
4. Get the family ready Check school bags, uniforms, activities, things that need packing and anything that needs to go out the door.
5. Then stop Your weekly reset isn't a house-cleaning marathon. Once you've covered the things that will make the week easier, stop.
One reset. A clearer week.
